I showed some phpwiki features (technically) to anyone who wants, and will try to get some opinions on features we/I (phpwiki) are working on now:

• [[SemanticWiki SemanticWeb]]: triple store and -search, reasoner hooks. I did a short presentation of the idea and some UI, but no background. I drive a big knowledge base in my company, which is also big.

About this we only talked informally:

• wysiwyg editing (beginners seem to like it, but advanced not)
• auth methods (apparently nobody uses it, but everybody wants OpenID)
• ranked fulltext search (external hooks or extend php based ones. Search is IMHO the most important wiki feature)

I usually don't attend syntax wars, because I'm [ReiniUrban/OnMediaWiki angry at mediawiki] and phpwiki could easily use other syntax parsers. We actually do. But people don't grok changes. Right so. => WikiCreole

I arrive at Thursday noon, do some surfing at Habitat 67 (see below) and have to leave at Sunday 4:05pm afternoon.

Yes, and I attended BarCamp Klagenfurt 2007, and will attend BarCamp Vienna June 2007.

How I started at this german spoken barcamp was giving links to some excellent wiki sites, no one usually knows what engine is behind. Blogs or drupal-alike frameworks or anything.

And I want to do some river surfing over there, because Montreal "Habitat 67" really should be the best river-surf spot on earth. Well, I'll compare it to Munich-Eisbach. I do it daily at our river. Some Habitat 67 photos, and the google map picture.
